Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The hotel is very dirty and would need a general refurbishment. At 10 o’clock housekeeping knocks on every door even though check out is at 12… The coffee at the bar and the water are not drinkable. Stay away from this place!

On the plus side, the staff were friendly and helpful, the pool was lovely and the location is great for shopping. On the downside, the rooms were boiling hot. While queuing at reception on the second evening, the four sets of people ahead of me were all complaining about their rooms being too hot. Even with a fan it was dreadful. The weather was cool outside so really inexplicable. The “air cooling” system they advertise is pointless and is certainly not air conditioning. The pool was also out of order on day two, which was quite disappointing given that was my main reason for choosing the hotel. Ultimately for me, I need to be able to sleep at a hotel, so the heat of the rooms really outweighed the positives.

Nice sized family rooms. Comfortable beds. However, I had prebooked 2 time slots at the swimming pool a week before the stay which was confirmed, however when we got there they had no booking for us - disappointing to say the least to say we chose the hotel for the leisure facilities in particular. Reception was helpful, but didnt get both slots nor at the time wanted.

Small swimming pool but kids loved it, the have a play area with toys and games including an Xbox. Rooms nice but toilet room is separate to bathroom where the hand basin was. Need to pay for parking which is expensive at £10/day for hotel guests. Overall nice stay. Location excellent for New Forest and other surrounding areas, Very close to restaurants
