We booked in around four and were shown to the room by a helpful man and met the general manager who was very sociable. Upon inspecting the room we found there was still cleaning products in the bathroom and the room appeared to be half cleaned as the bed was not fully made and lacked a duvet just covered with a sheet and bedspread. Luckily the weather and room were really warm so we didn’t need a duvet and the sheet sufficed. There was no hairdryer in the room but luckily a friend had brought theirs. The drinks tray in the room looked as though the tea and coffee etc had just been tipped onto it but again not a major concern for us. The biggest issue we had was the lack of hot water, this was explained that a plumber was needed as they had extended the number of rooms and the boiler couldn’t cope when lots of guests were showering at the same time. They promised that this was being looked into so benefit of the doubt here as we eventually got showered ready for our friends party in the function room below.
