Excellent Hastings B&B

Pros: Room, food, location and service.
Cons: Not applicable
Location: Around the corner from Hastings rail station and within walking distance to the main Hastings attractions along the front and in the old town.
Town House Rooms is an excellent B&B in Hastings, located near to the rail station. On arrival we were given a free upgrade to our room with ensuite bath, shower and toilet. The bed was really comfortable. We decided to dine in the downstairs bar & brasserie - Pissaro's - and the sirloin steak deal + wine (£30 for two) which they offer on Tuesday evenings proved a great choice. It was a hearty meal, really tasty and with great service - we were not made to feel rushed and spent several hours relaxing in a nice atmosphere with great decor and music (Stax, Motown, Soul) . The cooked breakfast in the morning (£5.95 pp) was very good with wide choice of items of the menu and set us up for the day. Overall it made for a very pleasant stay in Hastings and would strongly recommend it to others.

My Stay at Town H Rooms

Pros: I like the floor I was on so didn't need to walk up to many stairs. Hotel staff was very helpful and i was feeling a little cold and asked for blanket
Cons: A jug of water or bottle water supplied for the kettle would of been nice.
Location: Nice location near to shopping centre and Hastings station, so very convenience to get to town centre and shops literally just 5 mins away.
I go their late. But was a little disappointed as when I got their I thought everything was in order regarding my payment which when I left london the payment was pending and showing as going through on my bank statement But the person that served me was asking me to pay again and should of checked if my payment had gone through first. So I almost paid them twice. So I then had to pop out and check my bank balance and it show payment ok. So when back another person served me and she checked on her ipad and the payment had gone through. Apart from that good stay

Convenient town centre hotel

Pros: Convenient location, cosy/comfy room.
Cons: The room in which breakfast is served could do with a bit of a re-vamp, but it does the job and the food itself was very good.
Location: Shopping centre, seafront, Old Town and attractions
Not posh, but nicely kept. Room was on the small side but had everything I needed. Nice and clean and a comfy bed. Small fan provided kept the temperature perfect. Only downside was noise from the street, traffic etc and people enjoying a drink outside the bar/restaurant downstairs right under my window - but mostly quiet by about 1045pm. Helpful staff and very decent breakfasts. All in all a very pleasant stay. Close to shops, seafront and Old Town.
