Great hotel and location but it must be noted that when booking through a 3rd party site and filtering for hotels with a sauna, this one does still come up as some rooms have their own sauna. There is no communal or shared sauna in the hotel. We didn't realise this and needed to upgrade to have a sauna. The staff said they were one of the only hotels not to offer a general sauna for guests which was disappointing.

Dark retro scandinavian stone hotel

Pros: location is perfect == near theather and local transportation including Metro station
Cons: Double bed should be =>160
our double bed was narrow, maximum 140 cm Bath tub :) No customer sauna fresh breakfast

Nice hotel for city stop

We used the hotel as a city base for our overnight stop in Helsinki. Although not in the immediate centre, a 20 minute walk or a short tram/ metro or bus ride (all of which were really easy) meant we were able to see the local attractions really easily. Hotel room was modern and clean. No view to speak of but that didn’t bother us.
