no thought given to comfort of guests

Cons: thought about their guests comfort
Location: location in central Henley on Thames is good - plenty to do
we stayed here for only one night, thankfully. we spent a very uncomfortable night. The room was small and cramped, not helped by the large wooden surround to the bed. Many bruises to prove the point! The pillows were useless - and offered no support. the sheets weren't large enough to tuck in and resulted in a jumble of bedclothes. And as if all that wasn't bad enough, on a warm summer night there was a duvet rather than just a sheet. All in all a thoroughly uncomfortable, hot, sweaty night. Also the bathroom was up a flight of 10-12 steep and very noisy stairs. I can't think of a more uncomfortable night in any hotel.

I am sorry to see that you did not enjoy your stay with us and that the decor of the room did not meet your personal taste. The room you described is one of three Big Doubles that have the bathrooms upstairs and I have to say they are not "small and cramped". I am sorry that you didn't like the bed - personal taste again - or the fact that we use duvets etc. I hope you mentioned your feedback to us whilst you were with us as I am sure we could have done something to make things better for you. Great location / great services

Pros: Excellent facilities in room / walk in rainshower, roll top bath, huge bed, nespresso machine
Cons: Wi-fi signal, but that was being surveyed during my stay with a view to being upgraded.
5 start service from start to finish, checked in, valet parked, taken to my room.

Perfect location

Superb staff, so friendly, helpful and efficient. Great location for the town and river. Room was lovely, my only complaint would be the bathroom. Very luxurious but as soon as the tiles got wet the shower and floor got very slick, we were terrified we would fall. Had to use the flannels to walk on. That said, would definitely stay here again!
