Its pretty spartan with a bar as the only facility. The room is adequate and generally clean. Beds were very firm.

In the city centre and near a train station, Wendover Arms is in a walkable area with good airport proximity. Pinewood Studios and Stanley Spencer Art Gallery are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Hell-Fire Caves and Bekonscot Model Village. Longridge Activity Centre and Jordans Quaker Meeting House are also worth visiting. Our guests appreciate the hotel's central location.
It's hard to write this review because while this was one of the worst places I've ever stayed, it was mostly not the fault or control of the hotel or its staff. The rooms are cheap, small, but somewhat recently remodeled, very clean, and they gave good toiletries. There's nothing wrong with the hotel itself... But my God, their clients.. So I checked in on a Friday night, and there's a pub under the hotel. Which isn't too bad, you aren't right next to the pub so it should be fine. However, the bulk of the clients at this place apparently seem to be interested in getting pissed, making a ton of nose until about 2:30 AM, despite plenty of signs asking people to be quiet, then, they're all contractors, so they're awake again at 6:30, making a ton of nose in their rooms, the hallways, the parking lot, everywhere. I'm former military, so I'm not a light sleeper by any means, but between midnight and 7:30 on a Friday I identified, 3 different arguments, someone vomiting for about an hour in the room next to mine, a discussion about where to get breakfast that happened right outside my door at 7:00 AM, and trucks bring loaded with metal toolboxes in the parking lot (also right outside my window). If these things won't bother you (you keep similar hours), the place is great. But if you just need a bed that's reasonably quiet so you can get some sleep, this place is not for you. I sleep better in most hostels. At least the guests there usually make an effort to stay quiet.
