Modern Hotel well located for public transport

Pros: Location.
Cons: Signage at street level could be more obvious.
Location: Lucky Dawgs Brewery is nearby and well worth a visit. They do not sell beer in the bar, but you can get tasters and can buy their beer to take away.
Get an Octopus card when in Hong Kong, use the public transport system. The hotel is close to North Point MTR station, head for exit A1 turn right at street level and it is 100m away. Also close by is the North Point tram terminus if you prefer an overground route to the centre. I stayed on floor 29 of 31, nice harbour view and of the adjacent building site ( I like tower cranes). Allow an extra 5min to get anywhere using the lifts. Prebook breakfast at reception 750HKD vs 900HKD if you pay in the restaurant. Breakfast is adequate and convenient, lots of eateries nearby if you have more time.

Great place to stay. Rooms are a bit small

Great place to stay in Hong Kong. The rooms are a little on the small side. The hotel is right next to North point metro station. I would stay here again if I am in Hong Kong

I went for business and it was really good

staff was really nice and ready to solve any little trouble. some additional comfort to standard service would be appreciated, fridge drinkings, no need for deposit to preview TV movies...but overall pretty nice stay

Great value, great view...a gem!

Ibis Hong Kong, North Point, is a gem! It is a budget hotel but with lots of little extras like a free newspaper left at your door, free WiFi in your room, fresh toothbrush each day etc, and a restaurant on site, open til 9:30pm, which was great as we arrived late from the airport and needed a meal. We paid the extra $10 for a harbour view room and it was worth every cent. Our room on the 25th floor had a stunning view over Victoria Harbour to Hung Hom, suburban Kowloon and the cruise terminal. The hotel is attractive, light and airy, with clean comfortable rooms and friendly helpful staff. It is easy to reach by public transport as the A11 bus from the airport terminates at the North Point bus terminus opposite the hotel. (76 minute journey as the airport is quite a way out of town on another island). The Ibis is located on Hongkong Island, about 6 subway train stops from the Central District of Hongkong CBD and Central Ferry Terminal, with Star Ferries to Kowloon and other destinations. Both the train and ferry fares are cheap as chips, (about HK$6 - AU$1) The train station entrance is just a few doors from the hotel, in the same block, although there is a bit of a walk underground to the platform level. A short walk around the block from the hotel brings you to Marble Road, a narrow street full of jostling bustling local shoppers and traditional stalls of Asian groceries, fruit, and clothing etc, under colourful umbrellas, for a truly authentic local experience, with not a tourist to be seen! I would really recommend the Ibis Hotel Hong Kong.

A hotel in the real Hong Kong

This hotel is literally a minute from the MTR station. The room was an adequate size with a kettle plus tea & coffee. The bedding was clean but the carpet was grubby. The bathroom was so small that I could touch the sink with my chin whilst using the toilet. The towels were OK but not that soft. The bathroom needed a refurb. Nice view of the harbour. However, considering the size of the main room (for Hong Kong) and the view, this hotel was good value. Opposite the hotel are ferries to Kowloon (though not to the part of interest to tourists) and nearby are trams to Central. This is the part of the island where the locals live & shop. On the road behind the hotel are loads of shops (food, clothing, books), a KFC, a 24 hours McDonalds, restaurants and a market.

Hong kongin mittapuulla edullinen hotelli. Aivan metroaseman sisäänkäynnin kyljessä. Satamanäkymä olisi varmasti komea, meillä oli seinä vastassa 7m päässä. Hissi kannattaa käydä varaamassa muutama minuutti ennen kuin lähtee huoneesta. Tallelokero huoneessa. Pieni huone. Laukkua ei saa auki muuten kuin sängylle eikä laukkua saa mahtumaan edes sängyn alle. Pieni plussa tyhjäksi jätetty minijääkaappi mihin sai juomat kylmään. Ruokapaikkoja paljon ympärillä. Tim ho wan 10min kävelymatkan päässä. Marketti myös ihan kulman takana.

Nice view, easy to get from airport

Take Bus A12 or A11 from airport and you will get to the doorsteps of the hotel at a reasonable fare (especially if you are a senior citizen -> buy a Senior Citizen Octobus card!). Request a room with harbor view - it worth of the extra dollar. Breakfast was not included, but reasonably priced.
