Very worn out hotel in desperate need of refurbishment. The rooms probably feel dirtier than they actually are because of their bad condition. The staff always seem to be a bit lost, e.g. not knowledgeable, and I'm not confident that they have ever forwarded my feedback.

Not great

Pros: Not much
Cons: A serious clean. Its tired and dirty.
Location: Far enough away for a 10 pound taxi journey. Bus costs money to get a lift to airport and bank machine wasn't working.
Booked a quad room for my family and it was super small with bunk beds. The kids were delighted with the bunk beds but could have been nice to know. It was a standard room so very tight in space. The whole hotel felt very dirty. One lift doesn't go to the ground floor. 20 minutes free WiFi? Pah. Bit of a shithole and even though it may not be a top end price to stay there, I feel it could be at least clean.

Overnight near Gatwick Airport

Pros: Its proximity to the airport and the excellent English breakfast. The bed was extremely comfortable.
Cons: The room was somewhat shabby, but the bed was extremely comfortable.
The hotel is close to the airport and serviced by a bus to both terminals. It was just what I needed after two back-to-back longhauls.

Fine for an airport hotel

Food and bar were good, and receptionist on check-in was very helpful when I needed to locate somewhere to purchase a phone charger. The TV in my room didn't work though and the next receptionist wasn't interested in resolving for me. I was travelling on my own so watching a bit of TV had been my plan for the evening.

Too hot not air con

The room was boiling, hotel staff couldn't open our windows, air con was fixed on hot for the hotel and staff said they couldn't change it. Was the worst nights sleep I've had for a long time. Staff were lovely though and the food in the restaurant was good for the price. But wouldn't not stay there again.

Handy for airport.

Very handy for airport and surprisingly quiet. Good facilities in room and bar available till 11 also restaurant, I think. Shuttle every 15 mins to terminal. Will use it again.

Pleasant stay in hotel with excellent location

Location: Location was good, with easy access to London Gatwick via regular and reasonably-priced shuttle buses
Staff were friendly, engaged and efficient Room was clean and facilities - complimentary kettle and hot drinks, and toiletries - were well-presented and sufficient Bed was comfortable and clean Free wi-fi was easy to use and with good signal strength Very happy overall :)
