Hotel stay

Over priced for size of room/facilities. Room and Em suite quite small, very hot with only a tiny fan which was hidden away. Noisy ( some kind of function going on with kareoke) and two lights not working, breakfast very tasty but also small for a man/larger person.

Plenty on site parking. Staff memebers very helpful. Room had everything you needed for an evening. Breakfast was well presented and plenty option. Bar area was large and homely enough.

Lovely hotel. Stayed here as a family of four with two young boys. The room was perfect, facilities brilliant and food in the restaurant fantastic.

Nice room

Had a one night stay here and it was comfortable. Room is lovely as we have stayed here a few times. Will recommend to friends.

Good hotel, centre of town with large car park

Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Maybe some more modern furniture in the room
Location: Centre of this market town with easy access to shops from the front and spacious car park at the back
Had a family room for three adults and we were pleasantly surprised with the spacious room and comfort of the beds. Spent one night here whilst attending a family birthday party. All the staff were polite, helpful and friendly and the night porter had the door open for us before we reached the night bell. Breakfast was included and again nothing seemed too much trouble. Would highly recommend and definitely consider staying again. Whilst the building is old and perhaps a bit tired looking in places, I believe some refurbishment is due to take place but definitely nothing to complain about.

Perfect location for antique hunting!

Central location with plenty of car-parking made it a perfect place to stay to explore the town both during the day and the evening.
