A good base for St. Malo within Intra Muros.

Pros: The staff were very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was very reasonably priced and plentiful. The hotel was clean.
Cons: It needs updating as it looked tired in some parts. A bar for evening drinks.
Location: Just behind Chateaubriand Square. Walks on the wall, beach and port area. Shops within easy reach. A lot of history to take in.
The hotel is situated just off Chateaubriand square. We found it easily. It does need updating but it was clean and we felt comfortable. The dining area and lounge were well presented. It is situated among other buildings and streets and there are street noises to be heard but they did not distract from our experience of the hotel. It was very competitively priced.

Petit déjeuner sommaire. Jus de fruit qui semble dilué à l'eau. Rien pour les sans gluten. Propreté limite. Installations anciennes (salle de bain). Douche avec moisissures. Moquette dans la chambre très limite ... Pas d’ascenseur !

L'hotel est divisé en 2 bâtiments. Celui dans lequel j'étais n'avais pas d'ascenseurs mais ce n'est pas grave je n'avais que 2 étages à monter. Le personnel est très agréable. Et l’hôtel extrêmement bien situé dans les remparts. Pour le parking. Il est conseillé de se garer à l'extérieur

Nous avons du changer de chambre a notre arrivee car fuite d eau dans la salle de bain. Seconde chambre plus vetuste que la premiere qui n etait deja pas terrible :tapisserie dechiree,plinthes piquees par l humidité, douche rafistolee avec un colllier de serrage,odeur d égouts. Malgre une bonne situation intra muros,le prix reste eleve par rapport a la vétusté des chambres.
