The hotel was based in an excellent location for the business I had in Inverness. We had an excellent meal but was very disappointed that the "suggested" service charge had been added to my bill without my knowledge and likewise, I had not been asked if I was happy to pay the amount asked which on this occasion was £15.33, had I done what we usually do & leave a tip on the table the tip would have been closer to £20. If we had been a large party of 15 or 20 people I could have felt £15.33 was justified but for a table of 4, who were in the restaurant for 63 minutes I felt it was excessive, when I queried it I was told that it was something the hotel had started doing and Yes the cashier should have mentioned the "suggested" tip & asked if we were happy to pay, I just hope the £5 tip I did leave went to the staff that served my table and not into the hotels coffers which is not what I was intended. Other than that the room was big, clean and the bed was very comfortable, the staff were polite and good at their job of being attentive to the guest. Breakfast was very filling but the method of ordering is antiquated with a piece of paper to which you had to put a tick beside the hot items you wanted as theere was plenty of space to set up a hot buffet style area for hot items. But hey ho it worked out ok, I will definitely use this place again but will be a bit more switched on about the service charge... But f

The room at the hotel was very small and needed painting . The bathroom was old and tatty and the skirting boards were dirty. The bed squeaked and wasn’t very comfortable. On the plus side the breakfast was very good and the staff very nice and friendly .

Olin perillä myöhään illalla, respassa jo odoteltiin :) Aamiainen toimi täydellisesti. Lounasajan jälkeen ei saanut ruokaa kun olisin toivonut jonkin nopean aterian ennen illan konserttia, mutta henkilökunta opasti hienosti ruokailemaan kaupungille.

Good Morning, Unfortunately as we were fully booked and had an issue with one of our boilers (There was no hot water or heating) we had no choice but to outlook some guests to different hotels, this was explained when you were contacted prior to your check in at the hotel. We are sorry you feel we kicked you out, however this was not the case, it was to ensure you had a pleasant and comfortable stay while in Inverness. Kind Regards Reservations
