A lovely clean room , warm welcome on arrival . Unfortunately there was a power cut at night resulting in NO water for the whole of our stay ! I was given a duvet to use as a pillow as they had no extra pillows . We left not being able to wash , use the toilet etc . We are still awaiting a promised phone call from the manager regarding this (3 days ). Not able to call down to reception due to no phone menu or numbers to use from our room . I mentioned all of this on leaving only to be told “ sorry”.

The property is undergoing extensive renovation. There was scaffolding outside my bedroom window. On the same hall as my room through a double doors wiring was dangling from the ceiling space. A meal I had they provided the wrong type of knives for their guests to use making it difficult to cut what is on the whole formulaic overpriced food and drink.

We are still having refurbishment work done to the hotel which is due to be completed at the end of July and we hope to have a phone in every room once the works have been completed. We stayed for 2 nights. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. The shower room and the toilet are separate rooms with no sink in the toilet so you have to go from the toilet to the shower room to wash your hands, this seemed odd and unhygienic to me. The breakfast was very varied and of good quality and the staff are very friendly! I would definitely stay here again.

Good central position to explore Ipswich. Very clean and good standard for a hotel, value for money the room very good all necessary bedroom items supplied. Only downturn you had to pay for parking at the hotel £7 per night currently

Staff at the hotel are very helpful. The room was clean and air conditioned and the breakfast was very tasty with a good selection to suit most people. I would stay here again!

Convenient and clean, but security is lacking. A drunk intruder decided to bang on doors at 5:30 on a Sunday morning.....ruining our stay and threatening staff.

We regularly stay at this hotel because it is very close to town centre. Friendly staff, cheap parking (not free) and good bar.

Just one night stay, Comfortable and clean room

Location: Good Location
Stay was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was value for money. Clean rooms and pleasant staff. Parking was £7 for overnight stay.
