Pros - gardens were lovely, a real sun trap when much colder outwith hotel. Very clean. Breakfast was good value for money at only £10. Staff were lovely. Cons - my room was on main road so quite noisy. Zero soundproofing from upstairs, squeaking floorboards right across bed area. Toiletries provided were minimal and not replenished (1 sachet of shampoo and 2 shower gels). Decor very dated (but absolutely spotless). Not all facilities open - pizza place not open during stay, bar food only available 1 day of my stay, cocktail bar wasn’t open.

Shower is over the bath and very difficult to get the temperature correct. Went swimming twice the jacuzzi is great however the shower in the pool area although a shower unit the shower head pointed towards the wall behind as the unit for holding the head was broken so I showered by holding the head myself. The bar man in the cocktail bar was far from helpful and the bar itself was open from 6-8 not as was advised in a he hotel literature in our room

The upgraded room, the staff were very good and the breakfast buffet was excellent. The bathroom was spotless and had everything required. The room was a bit tired but acceptable but the noise from the central heating pipes was just unacceptable, so much so it made you turn up the TV to hear it and could be quite intrusive to neighbouring rooms. Having a car park on site was a bonus. The location is fantastic, literally just a couple of minutes walk to the main shopping area and bars etc.

Would not recommend. Our room had cigarette smoke wafting into it from 7am until after midnight from fellow quests smoking under our bedroom window from the pool terrace area. No hot water available from our bathroom sink. When these issue were raised at reception no Manager or Duty Manager was avaiable. Would definitely not stay again.

Pros: Jacuzzi and breakfast
Cons: Overall decor
Location: Shopping area, town centre and park
The Apollo is walking distance to both the pedestrian shopping area and the town centre. The rooms are adequate and comfortable enough but the hotel is a bit dated. The outdoor pool area is nice, there are sun loungers,a seating area and the pool also has a water slide for children. We particularly appreciated the indoor pool and jacuzzi, great to relax in after a days sightseeing. The buffet breakfast was excellent with ample choice and fresh toast,tea and coffee made to order. When we were there the bar area in the evening was extremely quite, barely used by the residents and lacked any ambience. Overall it’s good value for the money.

Pros: cleanliness and the staff, they were very professional and friendly
Cons: An update I wold say an update to make look more modern, but we did like it just the way it is. We found it kind of cool ;
Location: Very close to the market and the shops. Brilliant
The staff were extremely helpful and very nice, despite we arrived too early for checking in,they told us we could make use of the facilities. We found it quite central and just ten minutes walking distance from the bus station. The room had a impressive view of the outside pool and a very nice restaurant

Location: St Hellier lively & interesting.Weather disappointing. Coach tour of Island,war + tunnels,museums in St H all good.
Comfortable well run hotel although fixtures & fittings in bedroom/bathroom very dated ,Everything worked but needs modernising.Carpet very worn.A few biscuits with coffee making facs would have been nice.Restaurant food & service very good.

A short walk to town

Pros: Relaxed ambience, very approachable staff who couldn't be more helpful, even when faced with Jersey Telecom significantly upgrading their Wifi
Cons: Bathroom was a little dated
Ideal location for accessing the Jersey Archive, they are a 2 minute walk around the corner!
