Guys, i’m gonna be honest. Me and my missus are a bit high maintenance and love luxury. This place is a piece of heaven. Everything about it staff, accommodation even beach is better than anywhere around kendwa. Sunsets are brilliant to watch on beanie bags. Food could be improved on buffet nights but a la carte menus are pretty good and high standart. Its a bit expensive but its worth every penny. Attention to detail everywhere, everything is just right. We’ve had 4 nights and there was no availability so had to move to la gemma del lest which is pretty much few resorts down and we were in shock. Its also 5* but after Zuri it looked like 3 star if that. If you want proper hotel Zuri is the place to go. Its so green it feels like you live in jungle. Plants everywhere around bungalows very private and cosy. Inside bungalows all furniture well made and world known brands not some cheap stuff. Beds very comfortable best sleep ever. Good shower, good toilet. Theres even outside shower in the terrace.. really cool and its only years old i believe so everything is clean. Staff cleans room like at least couple time. Not even sure but every time we came back it was clean and tidy inside. At the end of stay some change went missing from the room so i would suggest to keep everything in safe provided in the room but all in all if brilliant place.

Stunning resort in a stunning location. Hotel is setup to ensure guests have a very relaxing stay - great vibe - simple things like the music - just right. Staff were super nice and the service was excellent all round, Amazing sunsets from the beach - loved the sundowners, and from the top bar. Cocktails also very very good.

Stay away . Do not book this property the staff are not at all bothered to make your stay pleasant . Worst management i have seen in the hospitality industry ants on the towels 15 mins to fetch one spoon by then the food was cold. The all inclusive is not worth it as you get a buffet and the food truly is awful gave us an upset stomach. Al a carte u pay for and is not included Hairs in the butter at breakfast. Hasnt happend in any other hotels i stayed at in zanzibar. Do yourselves a favour i didnt pay attention to the negative reviews but what they say is true 100 per cent. Told the management our concerns and he wasnt bothered did nothing to try to remedy the situation and before we went to him we went to other staff with little joy. They refused us dinner at al a carte as we hadnt booked yet the restaurant was empty the following day we booked a table we specifically wanted and they gave it to another couple. How ironic. And for the 3 days i was there i didnt sleep late night music all night from neighbouring hotel with full moon parties this is the part they dont tell u and they sell it as some idylic getaway which is flase advertising. When we told the manager all he said was this is a back packer area so if i had known that id never have booked it. If the music wasnt enough to contrnd with our villa was near the restaurant qnd i was subjected to hearing them drag tables and chairs all night when cleaning. Again reported this but no1 was bothered.

I myself arrived two weeks ago and my immediate focus is to ensure we deliver a quality 5* guest experience across all departments and also to position our management associates around the resort at all times for immediate and prompt assistance. We also need to put more attention to daily training sessions, staff skills development, restaurant reservation handling and revise our nightly cleaning practices. We do have an issue with the resort adjoining Zuri Zanzibar when they hold these loud monthly Full Moon events and we are seeking support from the tourism board to assist I reduce this loud music impact on what should be a very relaxing and tranquil experience at Zuri Zanzibar. Die Gardenvillas sind eingebettet im Pflanzengarten. Unser erstes Zimmer war sehr dunkel aufgrund der Lage. So zugewachsen das fast kein Tageslicht ins Zimmer kam. Wir konnten dann in ein anderes Zimmer das nicht so vom Garten verschluckt wurde. Dort war alles perfekt. Tageslicht / Sonne schien bis ins Zimmer und hat es gleich viel freundlicher gemacht. Strand ist wunderschön! Lässt keine Wünsche offen. Meer ist schön und es hat „fast“ keine Ebbe/Flut. Seeigel hatte es, aber das Wasser ist so klar, also kein Problem! Das Essen ist unglaublich gut! Es ist alles super fein gewürzt und wunderschön angerichtet. Wer gerne gut isst- ist hier genau richtig. Tolle Köche- gratulation! Service ist nicht schlecht. Je nach dem wer einem bedient sogar gut. Es könnte aber besser sein. Die Service Mitarbeiter sind nicht sehr aufmerksam.
