Booked and stayed here at short notice on a trip of the Wild Atlantic Way. Room was a good size with private bathroom. Staff were friendly & helpful. Bar next door had a fire lit and bar grub was great at very readonable prices. Kilkee is a quiet town and I had a peaceful nights sleep. Probably busier in the Summer with it’s proximity to the beach etc.

Very basic but clean

Pros: Staff were so friendly
Cons: needs renovating
Location: Central location close to everything
Was not aware of a nightclub 2 doors away and the noise until 2.30 in the morning

Close to the beach

Pros: Proximity to the beach and shops.
Cons: No kettle for tea or coffee in the bedroom. Although there was a residents tea room, it was locked at 10.30 every night
Location: Lots of things to do nearby, beach, dolphin watching, pony riding, Loop Head Lighthouse
I quite liked this place because it was close to the beach. It is situated right on the main street in the town, beside a supermarket and a variety of restaurants and pubs. My room was right over the bar below which could be noisy for some but I enjoyed the music. The staff, on the whole were friendly and helpful with the exception of one surly waitress. One other waitress, whose name I did not catch, was excellent. She was tall with a pony tail and couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was fine, nothing too fancy. Our room was fine too and cleaned regularly by a lovely lady who also gave us advice about places to visit in the local area.
