I asked on-line for a taxi as I was only staying 1 night & no one replied so I had to get my own taxi by the airport.On arrival the porter only helped with my bags up 2 flights because I asked .The receptionist was extremely rude & never spoke except to pass me the key & pointed to the stairs.I asked if I could have a coffee & she replied NO & went back to her phone .Following morning at 0510hrs the porter watched me struggle down the stairs & when I asked if I could please have some water ,The-reply was again No you must buy it yourself .The taxi driver was horrified and ashamed so he kindly drove me to get some coffee on the way to the airport .I paid for a room with bars on the windows ,no water /coffee & was made feel like a walking bug. The whole experience was horrific especially when they had signs everywhere to say Thank you to our Wonderful heroes( I am on their list .)My reason for being there . Please DO NOT book this place . To be treated the way I was after travelling for almost 24 hours & to be denied a glass of water knowing I had a long delayed flight & in the heat ,was Inhumane to say the least .My new employers are horrified at my experience & the treatment received towards a new employee . It’s only through ebookers that you have the choice to pay £3 for a cancellation otherwise it’s No Refund policy .Crazy as my flight had been cx twice already & you must book the Governments List of accommodation onlyin order to complete your PERMIT TO TRAVEL .
