Winter Austria relaxation

Austria is beautiful and we were very lucky to have lots of snow and so were able to ski in lovely mountains. Returning to the hotel after hard day’s work (skiing) was pure relaxation as great staff, good food (especially breakfast) and nice rooms

Am Empfang teils unfreundlich und abweisend, der Shuttle Service wird als sehr inflexibel dargestellt und erst nach mühsamen Diskussionen ist dann doch viel möglich. Die Fahrer sind teilweise äusserst zuvorkommend! Das Servicepersonal ist sehr freundlich aber scheint gestresst zu sein (evtl. Personalmangel?). Das Essen ist sehr gut! Alles in Allem ist keine konstante Linie vorhanden, der Komfort des Kunden steht nicht an erster Stelle. War zwar bereits 4 mal hier, komme aber nach diesem Mal nicht wieder - es gibt viele gute Hotels in Kitzbühel.

Very Nice Hotel just outside Kitzbühel

Pros: Outstanding Pool and "Wellness Tower"
The hotel is built next and around Schloss Lebenberg on a hill overlooking Kitzbühel and the Alps behind. Given the off-season when many hotels in Austria are closed, and mid-week, the hotel was practically booked out. We had not taken the "Halbpension" with Dinner and had a la carte, with a somewhat limited selection, but the meal was good and the service very attentive in two languages (English and German). A great feature is the olympic length (50m) swimming pool on the top floor with superb views over the mountains. As expected with so many guests it was impossible to swim laps late afternoon and early evenings, but at between 07:00 and 09:00 that was OK. The outside parking was free, but the very limited inside parking was unavailable. The Hotel offers a free shuttle service into town and is well placed for nice walks in the countryside. Guests were a good mix, with younger families with kids and older couples. Overall an enjoyable stay, but for Austria prices are elevated and on a level close to what we are used to in Switzerland.

Schöne, ideale Lage

Pros: Frühstücks-Buffet, gute Lage in der Natur, Struktur und Räumlichkeiten, ausreichend Parkplätze
Cons: kleine organisatorische Probleme beim Personal sind nicht verborgen geblieben, welche nach Anfrage aber alle schnell und kompetent gelöst wurden
Location: Die Lage bietet gute Möglichkeiten für Schneeschuh-Touren, Skitouren und Wanderungen auf Winterwanderwegen.
Wir haben auf der Suche nach Ruhe und Erholung drei wunderschöne Tage im Hotel verbracht. Die erhöhte Lage ausserhalb des Dorfkerns lässt einen traumhaften Blick auf Dorf und Skigebiet zu, insbesondere vom Bad und der Wellness-Zone, welche im 7. Stock des Hotels befindet. Die Räumlichkeiten sind angenehm gestaltet. Die Küche zaubert Köstlichkeiten aller Art und auch beim Frühstück wird man nicht einfach mit Speck und Ei abgefertigt.

One Night in Kitzbühel

Pros: Das Frühstück
Cons: Die Zimmer müssten dringend eine sanfte Renovation erhalten
Das Hotel liegt ein wenig abgelegen auf der "falschen" Seite des Hanges. Die Zufahrt war mit unseren Winterreifen nicht befahrbar. Das Zimmer sehr nett aber ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen. Das Frühstücks-Buffet war sehr reichhaltig.
