When I arrived at the hotel at 1.45pm (check in time after 2pm) was informed there is no such booking. I showed my booking. The receptionist went and searched then informed me he found the booking then told me this is a walk in booking and so I have to pay. I showed him the booking that it is already paid. I remembered I changed the dates but received confirmation from Hotels.com which I told and showed him. Then,he finally found the booking but informed me room not ready and requested me to wait. So, I waited and then he came with the room key. I went to the room and found the room not made up. I went downstairs to inform receptionist who rudely said I already informed you room not ready. I explained to him he did tell me room not yet ready and asked me to wait but when you gave me the key you did not say room still not ready so I went up. I called Hotels.com customer service. 03-77249659. a lady answered and after I told her what happened, she asked me to hold on she will call the hotel. The call was cut off. She called back using +16022826160 and said she called hotel and they will give me an alternative room and also a voucher had been sent to my email address. 1. The hotel did NOT give me alternative room. It was the same room which I was holding the room key and 2. Till today, two days later, there is no voucher sent to my email. Everything sounds nice over the phone but in fact NOTHING was done.
