This is a great budget hotel with fantastic bungalows on a great beach. However.....the pool is beyond BAD! It’s filthy old and so doesn’t inspire one to relax with drink on a nice day. Surrounded by mouldy green Astro turf carpet it looks worse than any caravan park. They really need to revamp it. Didn’t get in it once and left the hotel to sit by a pool as with a super windy 5 days the beach wasn’t useable to relax on. Everything else was reasonable. Wifi doesn’t reach your room and bandwidth makes use in the reception area possible around 7am or very late at night. No TV in room made me thankful I had a Fiji SIM card fir my iPad and Netflix.

The mattresses were atrocious - much like a hostel! Reception staff not as nice, helpful or friendly as all other staff. Great food with a wide variety. Perfect gardens and surroundings (they even rake the beach!). Great value for money.

This is a resort that you go to, to relax and enjoy time with family/friends in a local setting. It is one of the only resorts that is owned and run by local Fijians. Cannot fault the staff, the food, the atmosphere, the gardens are pristine and beautiful. Yes it may need a little touch up in places but really you might notice that once and then your welcomed into the whole family/friendly warmth behind Hideaway. All you need to do is read the reviews, guests go back 6, 8, 10 20 times, no one does this without good reason and Hideaway is that reason

The staff were amazing with my children, they showed so much love towards them, everyone was lovely and greeted us with a huge smile. The resort was wonderful, on the older side but clean and tidy, beautiful pool and surroundings.
