    Amazing Ecological Amidst Tranquil Nature 1 Bedroom Home

    Hello, my name is Natassa and I would like to welcome you to stay atour property which offers a unique experience.  All rooms aredecorated with style and taste, always in harmony with nature, toensure ideal relaxing holidays.  400 m  away from our guesthouse,there is a small family farm where the sheep are kept. Vineyards andolive trees are cultivated on our farm as well as cereals, which arealso used as food for our flock.  Guests who want to come closer tonature and animals can participate in various agricultural activitieson the farm such as animal feeding, milking, watching goats, lambing,grape and olive harvesting and vegetable planting.  In an area withrich Greek folklore tradition, we have created a tavern serving local,delicious homemade dishes.  Some of our products such as eggs, freshmilk, homemade jam and cheese are served for breakfast. For lunch anddinner dishes are prepared and cooked in the traditional way based onthe secret recipes of our grandmother.  Come and taste the lamb orgoat from our herd cooked with lemon or try the potherb pie,Tyropitara, Kourkoubines with touloumotyri, salads from our garden. Accompany your meal with local wine from our vineyards, made fromtwo grape varieties Cabernet and Savvatiano.The house, which is 1 of 6 completely independent ground-floor housesof 45 m2, can sleep 2 adults in a queen bed in the bedroom and 1 childon the sofa in the living area.  There is a fireplace which is lovelyfor keeping yourselves cozy during the winter months.  The kitchen isfully equipped with everything you would expect as well as a diningtable and chairs.  The bathroom has a bathtub and WC.  Each propertyhas its own terrace with beautiful views overlooking the sea and themountains where you can sit and relax with a drink.Guest have full access to their house and shared use of the tavern.We are in a beautiful location at Lykorema, just 1 km from the beachand 1 hour from the port of Rafina, between Marmari and Karystos.The beautiful Marmari is considered one of the jewels of coastalsouthern Evia, named from its excellent quality and coloring marblethat is quarried nearby.  Modern Karystos is a beautiful coastal citywith a modern layout and several tourist facilities, ready to welcomeand satisfy guests.  From most points of Karystos visitors can seethe beautiful castle that crowns the city, the famous Red Castle(Castelo - Rosso). The castle was built in 1205 by the Latins, afterthe conquest of Evia. It was built where there was an ancientacropolis of Karystos.  In the central part of the coastal road, inthe city of Karystos by the sea, rises the imposing 2-storey Mpourtzifort, built by the Venetians during the 13th century and preserved inexcellent condition.  During the summer months, there are photoexhibitions, art exhibitions and poetry evenings.  Opposite Mpourtziin a beautiful square, is housed the "Giokaleio Cultural Foundation"which, as well as the great library (11,000 volumes), it houses anarchaeological collection of finds from the drakospita."Karystian House" is the Folklore Collection CH.V.
