Don’t let the protests scare you
Yes, the protests and riot police were right down the street from this hotel, but there is nothing to be afraid of. I did not see a shred of violence my entire stay. It’s very easy to avoid the crowd if you want. Just walk in the opposite direction. Hong Kong needs tourism more than ever thru these trying times.
