This is a nice hotel in a great location with large rooms and great staff. The big problem with the hotel was that when we arrived, more than half of it was shut for major refurbishment. This included the large pool overlooking the cliffs, which we had been looking forward to using. The work is extensive and means that there is very loud noise in all areas from dawn to dust. This includes jack hammers, heavy plant machinery and general building noise. It is like being on a building site and was impactive in our room and in all public areas. We spoke to the manager who said that the work had only recently started and that he had informed ebookers in good time. Our issue is why were we not told and given the option of going elsewhere? The building work totally ruined our stay.

The location is stunning and as regular visitors to the area, the main reason for choosing this resort. It is though quite a tired hotel in need of extensive updating. From room decor, bathroom facilities to the sun beds in the excellent pool area, everything shows signs of age and wear and tear. Breakfasts leave a lot to be desired and don't compare well to other hotels in the area. Finally, leave your devices at home if you don't want to be frustrated by a very poor wifi service. There's simply no excuse for the quality of wifi in this day and age in this property.

Gutes Hotel in sehr schöner Umgebung. Zimmer waren sauber und gutes Internet. Personal im Speisesaal zum Teil unmotiviert.

Nice hotel next to the beach and good pool area

Pros: Pool side was nice and location!
Cons: I prefer more quality to breakfast over quantity
Location: Location was perfect! It was right next to the beach and all the shops and services were just next to the hotel. Ao nang was lovely place for families
We stayed here as companion of four adults and one three year child. It was nice that our rooms were connected by door which could have been shut also. We had child bed also in our room and it was included and installed without any further request which was nice and friendly surprise. Our child enjoyed pool and it was really practical because there was big tree shadowing the pool so children don't have to be in direct sunlight. Location was perfect next to the beach! There was huge variation in breakfast but I would have wished maybe more quality and taste to breakfast. Freshly fried eggs were nice surprise!

Super Lage am Strand

Pros: Strand- und Zentrumnähe sowie gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis.
Cons: Nein
Location: Im Zentrum, in der Nacht jedoch ruhig. Dank Strand- und Zentrumsnähe vielseitige Sport- und Ausflugsmöglichkeiten.
9-tägiger Aufenthalt in einem Superior Gartenzimmer mit Frühstückbuffet. Zimmer von ordentlicher Grösse, jedoch sehr ringhörig. Zimmerservice sehr unterschiedlich, einmal sehr genau am anderen Tag wiederum nur das Nötigste erledigt. Frühstück, mit schönem Blick auf den Strand von Ao Nang) für thailändische Verhältnisse sehr gut, mit Eierspeisen nach Wunsch, vielseitiger Fruchtauswahl inkl. Yoghurt und Süssspeisen. Käse- und Trockenfleischauswahl wie gewohnt dürftig, jedoch Möglichkeit, das Frühstück "thailändisch" zu ergänzen (Beef, chicken mit Gemüse, etc.) Massagen und gute Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe.
