Nice, comfortable hotel, friendly staff

I tried calling the hotel to explain to them that we would be coming a day earlier due to the fact of the way they had their check in times. For some reason I kept getting hung up on and when we arrived at the hotel we had to pay over 2million rupiah for a room. After some trouble the assistant manager was nice enough to allow upgrade us to a junior suite for the rest of our stay. Unfortunately though the first night of our stay we had to call house keeping since the sheets were stained. The rest of the stay was pretty good. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast buffet leaves much to be desired. I basically ate toast and coffee everyday, the menu could do with an upgrade. Not far from the main area of Kuta which is good. There are signs by the hotel saying that there are no ubers or taxis allowed. And the drivers for the hotel charge crazy prices for trips that are much cheaper. All in all our stay was pleasant.

Renovations + Closures

In accordance with local regulations, all visitors must remain within the property during Seclusion Day (Nyepi)/Hindu New Year for a 24-hour period (starting at 6 AM). Seclusion Day typically falls in March or April (dates subject to change each year). Check-in and check-out will not be possible on that date. Ngurah Rai Airport (Bali International Airport) is also closed on Seclusion Day.
