Comfortable and clean.
Overall, the place was clean and comfortable. Nice enough hosts. Comfortable beds and seemed clean throughout. The exterior garden could use some attention. Location is off beaten path, which has good and bad points. Specifically towards the guest house itself and the facilities they do and do not offer. If you are on foot or cycling, there is no convience of a store or restraunt nearby. Even by car, it's a 15 minute journey of tight and tough roads. Which is ok for breakfast, as that is included. So they do offer dinner, but not all of the time it seems. Which sometimes you do not know about until after you have arrived. So I would suggest that due to the remote location, they should be able to offer a fridge and at least a microwave to guests. Which one could store and heat up your own food. This could easily be done in the current breakfast room, but they lock it off to guests (after breakfast and if not serving dinner). Also, it is a great thing that the place is a vegetarian guest house. However, they dont really cater much to vegans. Which would seem logical that they would provide for this. They seem to focus on offering eggs and cheese, but nothing specifically for vegans. They do have a few slices of vegan ham and offer a few other bits. Otherwise there is no real option for a cooked breakfast if dont eat eggs. All this said, it is a decent and peaceful place to stay and relax. They maybe just need to consider their facilties and location trade off.
