Located in Leeds, this holiday home is in an area with good shopping. Roundhay Park and Townclose Hills Local Nature Reserve are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Harewood House and Bramham Park. We only booked this 'luxury mansion' because it was listed very clearly as having '10 bedrooms' and also stated 'All rooms are en-suite with superkingsize beds'. What we got was a house with 7 bedrooms with the superkingsize beds, two very small bedrooms each with one single bed, and a living area with a sofa-bed (not made). As we had booked this for a family party of 18 adults and 2 children, including 8 couples, we did expect that each couple would have a room which is ensuite with superkingsize bed. The listing for the house also stated that it had a 'Brand new fully equipped kitchen with all utensils i.e. pots, pans, cups, glasses, etc'. But this was not the case. There was not enough crockery, cutlery or glasses for the party of 20 booked. Nor was there enough seating for 20 guests to eat together. We spent the first two hours of our stay contacting the owner to deal with these issues and two cleaners eventually brought us some crockery, cutlery, pots, and additional folding chairs. Most of the fold away chairs provided were dirty. What cutlery there was in the drawers at the house had not been cleaned. So several guests began their stay by cleaning these items. For these and several other reasons the stay at this house was both stressful and disappointing.
