Booking in person rude and unpatient due to quite a few of us attending because my birthday.. Staff spoke down at us and seemed un interested in us and wanted us out the way as soon as possible.. One positive thing was female serving us breakfast in morning was the most opposite polite kind and helpful

Very handy for city centre

Pros: Location and ease of walking to the centre.
Cons: It suited my one night stay. Maybe a comfy chair to relax in rather than the hard, plastic one would be nice.
Location: Great location
Spotlessly clean room and bathroom. Quite basic, but functional.

Staying in town for a beer festival. The hotel is close to railway station and convenient for theatre where event held. There was trouble with the main light in the room which wouldn't turn off. A call down to front desk produced the night manager who was eventually able to persuade it to switch off. As compensation, he gave me a free breakfast, which was good value.

Great if you plan to experience nightlife!

After a night of fun and drinks, we arrived back at 3:30am and was very looked after, and was made some cheese toasties!!

hotel needed close to the town

The hotel was going through a major revocation project .We where informed of the building work on our arrival ,no indication of this on the web site The noise in the room was unbearable and went from 9-30 -6.00pm.. We should have not been charged for full price or use the rooms whilst the building work was going on.Very disapointed and will not be using Ibis again,
