Understaffed and lack of customer service. Monies taken from account after check out when fully paid and not able to tell me why. I was then advised it was a preauthorisation as had extended my stay, when I said that is odd as have just checked out I was told they didn’t know how the system worked! I am still waiting a call from a manager which should have been the day after departure as none were in and it took 2 days for a refund to reach my account. Be very careful if they have your bank details!!

We arrived and was offered an upgrade to an executive room which we accepted for £25. This gave us a larger room and a waterfront room which was nice. The room was really quiet but the bed could have been more comfortable. The downside was breakfast. We waited nearly 10 minutes for the buffet to be restocked,the staff kept bringing items out which meant that it was difficult to get a full breakfast as guests took what was there so it was never stocked up fully. The staff whilst friendly hadn’t really got a clue and it seemed that there was no planning on how many guests would want breakfast. It was a Sunday morning and the restaurant was only half full. I mentioned this to the staff 3 times and eventually two managers came and tried to resolve this but still the staff seemed to struggle. It appeared that other guests complained and on check out the £25 was great fully refunded which was a nice gesture but we would have preferred a stress free breakfast v
