Nice hotel, although the room was not the standard I was expecting from a Hilton; paint peeling from the ceilings, fittings on shower missing, light on mirror not working, tissues replaced with toilet roll. The main reason we selected this hotel though was for the pool/sauna/steam room, which we thought was included in the room price, as there was no mention anywhere in the booking that there was a surcharge for this facility. Therefore it came as a surprise when we were informed that we would both have to pay for this facility every time we wished to use it. I consider this false advertising and would have possibly selected an alternative hotel if I had known this was the case.

Good city centre hotel

Pros: Location, character and service
Cons: We were told that we would have to pay £15 each if we wanted to use spa facilities; checked booking and it didn't specify this as an additional cost
Everything within walking distance. Nice bar area Spacious room

grrst hotel friendly staff

Great stay only thing I can fault is that when we checked in and got to our room there was a dirty face cloth left in the sink with hair and dirt on it apart from that excellent hotel

Lovely hotel

Lovely hotel just a couple of moans Room situated on other side of building had to catch a lift to third floor then very long walk down big staircase not easy with luggage. Use of spa and pool extras unusual.

We arrived after a 2 h delayed flight at 1 am hungy and tired the first we recive was a warm chocolate cookie.... nothing more to say
