It looks like they recently renovated the property. I stayed for 2 nights in an executive suite. The carpets looked new, as did the paint on the walls. There was a large sitting room area with couch coffee table, dining table and chairs. There was a fridge and kettle. No sink or microwave. The breakfast was ok for what you are paying. I was here with work, so found the location for me was convenient but there’s not much around it at all. You wouldn’t be going for a walk from it. The staff could not have been nice though. The girl on reception on Tuesday 20th February was really friendly and professional. The girls at breakfast were fantastic too. I was travelling alone, so it was nice to see a friendly smile each morning. I’d stay here again. The only negative is that they could really do with updating their bath/showers.

The rooms had dated furniture and looked very different to website photos even though we selected executive rooms. The rooms were not cleaned in 3 days even though we requested twice with bins overfilled. We were told the spa would be open in the morning, but then discovered in the morning the Steam and Sauna facilities would be closed for another further 2 weeks. When trying to book and a spa treatment at the desk, was told to go away and check the website for prices. It felt like we were a burden so didn't book the treatment and went elsewhere. The jacuzzi had a dirt film along the edge but on the positive side, the pool was nice and warm! I wouldn't chose this hotel again if I had a choice.

Great hotel near wedding venue

Stayed for two nights whilst attending a wedding at the lovely Knowsley hall which was only a 10 minute drive away the hotel was very comfortable and we had a lovely meal on the first night I had salmon and my wife had a chicken korma the food was excellent and good value for money drinks a little expensive bedroom would have benefitted from a fridge visited leisure centre twice which we really enjoyed overall an excellent two night stay

Great location

Lovely hotel. Staff very friendly, room spotless , breakfast very tasty .would recommend staying here . Will stay again .
