- Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities
Avoid at all cost! The room was dirty, it was very dusty. We asked for the to clean the room properly and replace the mattress as this was shot. They said they would do this when we are out. When we return to the room later that evening, the had cleaned the room but not well enough and only turned the mattress. For what we paid for one night is not worth it I would have rathered camping.

From the outside it looks stunning. The food was delicious and good value. Our room was shoddy and in need of redecoration. All round a disappointment.

The staff was very welcoming especialy the lady (Karen) who was working in the mornings with the breakfasts, the room had a lovely view and was very spacious and comfortable. especially loved the double sized bath.

Ok, but over priced
The staff are lovely, the building is very grand and the food is really nice, but the interior is in need of allot of investment! The shower had no pressure so we washed in the sink, the carpets were all loose in the walk ways and the lino in the bathroom was all bubbly. The beds were comfortable enough and it was quite cold throughout. It was fine for 1 night, using my hotels.com freebie but I would have been massively disappointed if I had spent £200 on a night here.
