What a great hotel. Modern, clean and quiet. Room was smallish but ideal for me with great facilities Hotel a bit away from main theatre land but fine if you want to be near Aldwych or the Strand.

Good Hotel & Location. Poor Staff Performance

I booked 3 superior rooms in the hotel for a group of us travelling to London for my mum's 60th. To cut a long story short, rooms were on different floors, despite a request to be together. One of the rooms was not ready for check in until 6pm as it hadn't been cleaned. Staff were rude and handled this terribly. Rooms were clean and tidy and we all slept well. Breakfast the following morning took an hour to arrive as they forgot to process our order and was very disappointing when it did arrive. Real shame as its a lovely hotel in a great location, but probably wouldn't return based on this experience and lack of customer service from the staff.

Lovely, just a few tiny niggles

Very nice hotel. Lovely interior, great staff. Lots of amenities in room. Just one thing... the aircon is rubbish. It goes no lower than 19c and I'm not sure if that is an accurate temperature either. We asked for it to be looked at when we were out but it still felt really warm when we got back. Obviously being in London this probably is not normally an issue- but we had freak weather this weekend where it was 28c outside. Hate a warm room to sleep in. Had to open the (groundfloor) window at which point we noticed the lock was broken and the blind pulley was hanging off. Oh dear. Overall it's a gorgeous hotel though so don't be put off!

Always a pleasure to stay

We've stayed here a few times over the years at different times of the year and it's always been a delight. The rooms are lovely, clean and well maintained. Service is always polite and professional. The hotel itself is situated fairly close to Covent Garden (10-15 minutes walk) and there are plenty of restaurants and shops between. I've never been disappointed staying here and will return again when we're in the area.

Hotel is in an excellent location, you can reach many of the usual London attractions on foot. Room was spacious and well-appointed. We did not like the shower without a border so water splashed all over the bathroom during showering.

Great hotel

Great hotel. Room was clean and comfy my only fault was there was 1 fizzy water and 1 still water per room. Bit silly when the room is for 2 people. Should be 2 of each kind. My only fault. Can't fault nothing else.
