Good location and price but room smelt of smoke and was pretty dated and in need of some repair. Bath broken and several bulbs gone. Nice to have gym and pool but all in need of updating and the pool and stream room etc very much in need of a deep clean plus the hot tub was broken.

The hotel is located about 5 minutes walk from Canary Wharf underground. The hotel lobby is nice and the hotel staff are helpful and welcoming. There is building work going on across the road which was very noisy in the rooms. The rooms are dated and could really do with decorating. The other guests were also very noisy and I actually had a few drunk people trying to get in my room at night. On one occassion I got woken up by a couple who were trying to use their key card to get in my room at 5.am and they were actually accompanied by hotel staff. I really didn’t appreciate being woken up like that. On the day of my check out I also had hotel staff banging on my door early in the morning. They were clearly making sure I was awake to check out on time but they tried to disguise it as they had got the wrong room. So two days out of my four day stay I got woken up real early which wasn’t ideal. Probably wouldn’t stay here again as a result.

Poor condition lifts and room. Very tired decoration and furniture in the room looked very 1970s. Dirty carpets. Terrible shower. Broken taps. I would really not recommended the hotel and was rather disappointed. However the breakfast was ok and the staff were efficient and helpful.

Not the warmest room/ no acces to the internet

I stayed one night in, however the room was quite cold. I’m also not a fan of paying to acces the pool, sauna etc. when they don’t advertise them as extras. Finally, this is the only hotel I remember being in recent decade without WiFi in the rooms. This is only available at the reception. Bouh

Cheap hotel, faded glory but good value

Most rooms have great views, very convenient and really good restaurant prices. Stay here because you want central but don’t want to pay but then don’t complain. Swimming pool warm and clean but not used by city types more a ‘locals’ health club, gym fine and great massage. Only negative is hot rooms.
