A Perfect Night's Sleep!

Pros: Peaceful room with no disturbances. Bed was comfy with lovely clean sheets. Shower was powerful with lots of towels. Attentive staff.
Cons: Update the carpet.
Location: 2 minutes from tube station and a few stops from the city centre.
The bed was really comfy with lovely soft clean, crisp sheets. The room was quiet, spotlessly clean and the shower was powerful. The restaurant staff were all so attentive and deserve a 5* rating. I received a good discount having booked on line. The hotel is perfectly located close to Lancaster Gate tube station and just a few minutes away from Oxford Street and Carnaby Street. Fab! What more could you ask! I will certainly stay again.

Nice hotel, if you get one of the nicer rooms.

Pros:
Cons:
Location:
Nice hotel, if you get one of the nicer rooms. Good location, public areas very nice and well maintained. Unfortunately my room had the buzz/hum of presumably an air conditioner or refrigeration unit. Room was small (could not stand up straight in shower due to sloping wall across the bath.

Excellent location

The hotel was in a brilliant location right near Hyde Park which is also great to walk through. The facilities and decor inside were as you would expect. The breakfast was excellent each morning and there was plenty of variety to chose from. Ask for a room high up as we were on the ground floor and the noise from outside was pretty constant and made going to sleep very difficult.

Large people need large rooms

Interior designers seem to cram in as many rooms as they can with tiny spaces for bathrooms. The standard double room though very well equipped and tidy is small for large people. Noise could be heard from the bedroom next door. But for a one night stay in the centre of London it wasn't a bad price. Lobby area is very smart but cramming rooms into tight spaces lowers the overall rating. The bathroom door did not open fully but got stopped by the protruding toilet seat!
