Nice comfy bed although it’s too narrow. I expect a King size and not Queen. Bottled waters in room are tiny, in plastic, not chilled as there is no fridge and are a ridiculous £2.75 each. My relatives stayed here the previous week and were shocked to find the water chargeable! No price loop was around the neck. It was on ours. When I checked out, two people next to me were shocked to find a charge for the water. Theirs never had a price on either. There is very little outside free parking so budget on £12 a day for this. It’s free overnight

Great location for Excel London. Had some room issues which were quickly and efficiently resolved by excellent customer service.

5 minutes walk to the DLR to anywhere in London

Pros: Location was great for us (we do tend to use this area to stay whenever we visit London - no matter what we are going to do).
Cons: Read the notes or special requests as I did ask for a bath if possible but when I got to the room we only had a shower, no one even mentioned request.
Location: 5 minute walk to the DLR to get to anywhere. 5 minute walk to the Cable Car to the O2.We used it for return trip to cinema @ O2 on Friday night.
We had 2 night stay for Open House London weekend. It was very busy when we arrived on Friday 15th Sept. @ 3pm, but there were plenty of staff at reception to handle us all. Our receptionist was very friendly and processed us speedily. The hotel room was immaculate with fresh fluffy towels and toiletries. No noise could be heard from anywhere when in the room, so slept peacefully each night.

Tired hotel in need of a make over

I'm surprised this hotel is 4 star. We had a family room with broken lamp shades, a massive crack down the window and the slatted roof in the hall was falling in. Would have preferred to stay elsewhere as this was a treat for our daughters birthday. I have stayed in much better for less. The cooked breakfast was pretty poor although there was plenty of other options. Staff are friendly, very quiet area and near to the DLR.

fabulous break

The Hotel was easy to find, very friendly welcome.. friendly helpful staff. Very close to dlr .lovely clean comfortable room, lots of choice for eating..only slight point..cooked breakfast was only luke warm.. it could have done with being served/self served from a hot cabinet instead of in the open air under lights. Will definitely come back.
