DO NOT BOOK WE TRAVELLED HUNDREDS OF MILES TO ARRIVE AND THEY SAID THAT THE HOTEL WAS CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC THEY OFFERED NO SUPPORT OTHER THAN TO TRY AND CHARGE US £344 TO BOOK US ELSE WHERE ON TOP OF THE £288 WE HAD PAID WE WERE TWO WOMEN TURFED ON TO THE STREETS WITH NO WHERE TO GO

relativ kühler Empfang (auf mein "I have a Reservation for xx nights" war die Antwort: "Yeah… what's your Name?) - Zimmer zuerst sehr sehr laut, (bei Haupteingang & auf Strasse gerichtet). Nach Zimmerwechsel diesbezüglich besser, dafür (im 3. Stock) sehr heiss & Klimaanlage funktionierte nicht. Bei Nachfrage an Reception hiess es: "see instructions in YouTube" (!) Lage des Hotels & Ausstattung der Zimmer sind OK. Zwischendrin sogar ein freundlicher & hilfsbereiter Herr an der Rezeption.

Wir waren vier Nächte im Hotel und waren sehr zufrieden. Die Lage und Anbindung ist sehr gut - in 5 Minuten ist man zu Fuß an der U-Bahn Haltestelle Shepherd's Bush. Weitere 20-25 Minuten ohne umsteigen mit der Central Line und man steht mitten in der Innenstadt. Das Personal war wirklich sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und bemüht, den Aufenthalt möglichst angenehm zu gestalten. Im Hotel gab es keinen Lift, was für uns kein größeres Problem war, da wir mit Handgepäck anreisten. Das Dreibettzimmer stellte sich als größer und komfortabler heraus, als erwartet. Gerade für Londoner Verhältnisse konnte man sich hier nicht beklagen. Das Gleiche gilt auch für das Badezimmer, das zwar nicht exorbitant groß war, uns aber völlig ausreichte. Sehr gut hat uns der kleine Kühlschrank gefallen. Diesen kann man dann auch direkt mit Kleinigkeiten aus den umliegenden Geschäften füllen. Es gibt eigentlich nichts was es in der Gegend nicht gibt und das war sehr angenehm. (Evtl. besonders schön für Deutsche: in nicht einmal 5 Minuten Fußweg findet man einen Lidl, der ein sehr ähnliches Sortiment hat wie in Deutschland). Natürlich gab es auch ein paar Kleinigkeiten, die uns nicht so gut gefallen haben. Da wäre zum Einen, dass das Zimmer nicht richtig sauber war. Es kam zwar jeden Tag jemand zum reinigen, aber Fenster, Spiegel, Ecken und manchmal auch Gläser waren leider nicht sauber. Das Andere ist, dass wir ein Zimmer zur Straße hin hatten und es durch die Lage (Ampeln..) zeitweise sehr laut war.

The location was nicely near tube station so it was very easy to get around London. The hotel not luxury, but very adequate to our needs, personnel was very friendly

Central

Pros: Very Central
Cons: Get double glased Windows!!!
Location: Sheppards Bush, easy for travelling around!
Got there and the Staff was quite friendly. The room very small and in the Basement. A bit noisey even as it is located towards the back of the street. But if you only use it for the night and can sleep with earplugs, why not!!!
