Nice hotel, very good staff

Staff extremely accommodating. We were given upgrade as we were with our infant son. Very comfortable rooms, free high speed internet, huge beds. Well worth the extra money compared to the budget hotels.

Convenient location

Stayed in hotel for 2 weeks, whilst completing a training course held at the venue. Hotel was as expected, with easy access to other parts of London, if required

Excellent value

Booked at short notice. All in all great value. Nearest rail stations are Shadwell DLR and Shadwell overground so decent access to London.

Wonderful!

I couldn't believe how cheap the room rate was compared to the level of service and comfort we received. Staff were friendly and didn't hesitate to change the room type for us. When I asked for a toothbrush, someone turned up in less than 3 minutes. The bed was so comfortable it must have been one of the best I've slept in, and the room was spotless. Highly recommended.

Friendly staff and nice hotel

Really nice staff and an upgrade on arrival - how nice. The area is a bit rough, but the hotel makes up for it.

Siisti moderni hotelli, alue epäsiisti, roskia kaduilla esim. Pääsi kuitenkin hyvin julkisilla helposti liikkumaan.

Hotel in nähe der Stadtmitte

Pros: Preisleistung war gut.
Cons: Keine Feueralarme mehr. Earlycheckin ohne aufpreis! Bequemere Betten !!
Location: In der Umgebung gibt es viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants und einen 24h Mc Donalds. Sehr viele Ausländer in der Umgebung (Inder / Pakistaner).
Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer im Holiday Inn für 3 Nächte und sind leider nicht sehr begeistert wieder abgereist. Unser Flug war früh, so dass wir um 11 Uhr bereits vor dem Hotel standen. Da unser check in jedoch um 14 Uhr war, konnten wir das Zimmer nicht beziehen, außer man war bereit eine "early check in" Gebühr zu bezahlen. Naja wir haben unsere Koffer abgegeben und haben uns die Umgebung angeschaut. Später beim check in konnten wir uns entscheiden, ob wir Frühstück dazu buchen möchten (10 pound pro Tag), welches jedoch nicht im Hotel ist, sondern außerhalb. Wir haben dankend abgelehnt, da es viele Möglichkeiten auswärts gibt. Das Zimmer ist sehr klein, jedoch für einen Städtetrip ganz ok. Jedoch sind die Betten stein hart und unmöglich darauf gemütlich zu schlafen. Unser Kühlschrank hat nicht funktioniert, was jedoch auch nicht weiter schlimm war. Die Lüftung/Klimaanlage ist nachts sehr laut, dazu hört man jede Toilettenspülung der Nachbarn und die Rohre sind sehr laut. Am zweiten Abend gab es um 2 Uhr Nachts einen Feueralarm (wahrscheinlich hat jemand im Zimmer geraucht) und das ganze Hotel musste evakuiert werden. Man hätte wenigstens eine Entschuldigung oder eine nette Geste erwartet hierfür, aber nix da. Achja die Fenster kann man in den Zimmern nicht öffnen, das heißt es gibt entweder eine laute Lüftung oder stickige Luft. Die Zimmer wurden gut gereinigt und das personal war bemüht einem zu helfen. Einen Adapter für die Steckdosen gibts beim Empfang.
