The best things about this property is the location and the price for central London, so close to Kensington & Hyde Park. We were in a Studio apartment on the top floor of number 34 which was 85 steps up, so request lower floor if this would be an issue for you. The Studio was basic but fine as a base for a few days sight seeing. 24hr Reception/ Check in, is in a different building which was no issue they brought us more pillows upon telephone request. We were able to leave luggage after check out. I’m pleased I booked and wasn’t put off by some of the other reviews, I would return in the future.

Central Location

Pros: Very Little
Cons: Everything as above. Staff welcome room Decor is tired and outdated
Location: Love location Plenty to do nice neighbourhood. Easy access to London
Room is small and cramped...bed is too low...close to the floor. Window hard to open on a very hot day No plug in bathroom sink No bedside table or lamp Broken chair...dangerous to sit on. Shower is too tiny for an adult

Stop complaining about this hotel. its value

Pros: Location
Cons: It's excellent for the price. Tired in places but for the price..... It's great value
Location: Very central
Not far from Queens Way tube and very central. Anybody who has slated this has not stated in enough hotels. I normally only staying for a five star hotels when is London and made a mistake booking this (non refundable).However I have to say that £80 a night I paid for this offered excellent value. I think people who are complaining about this place have expectation Of a hotel that they need to pay £250 a night for. In the uk we call it champagne taste and beer bottle money. Please wake up this is London and it's expensive. I don't usually write reviews. But having myself gone with a view that if it was bad I would cut my losses and book at 250 a night .... Well , it completely exceeded my expectation. Im sure pople come from the USA and complain , but wake up ... london is expensive and if you complain about this place it's cause you didn't spend enough money and are deluded !

Great location, tired room with lack of amenities!

Pros: Easy check in and out, cooking facilities. Great location.
Cons: Improve cleanliness and provide basic amenities expected at this price point.
Location: The location is very good. Walk to beautiful Hyde Park, easy walk to tube stations. Shops including grocery stores very close by.
We were a family of four who stayed here for two nights. The sleeping arrangements worked out okay. Having cooking facilities helped to make our stay more economical. However, many things had been overlooked. There was no hairdryer, and nowhere to plug in a dryer and blow dry with use of a mirror. The quality of the main bed mattress was very poor - probably the worse we have ever experienced in a hotel. There was even only one bedside cabinet instead of the standard two for a double bed. This left the impression that this hotel simply cares about collecting the money and bookings rather than the comfort and satisfaction of their guests.

Die Lage ist gut. Die Unterkunft winzig zudem war das Zimmer nur über einer Hünerleiter erreichbar. Kein Platz und schon gar nicht zum essen. Es stinkt. Badezimmer ist so winzig! Essecke nicht benutzbar da kein Platz zum sitzen!
