Nice location

Cons: Allocation of rooms needs to be looked at
Location: Tower of London , river cruises, lots of walking tours.
We like being in that location, however second time we've stayed there. Always something not quite right for a relaxing stay. Had a triple room in August, only catered for two. Then this weekend was disturbed by a function , very noisy until 12.30. Breakfast in the morning was 'ok. One guest walked in to the restaurant in his bath robe!! Only saving grace we didn't pay too much for the night, but that not the point.

Very convenient for underground, luxurious hotel.

Pros: Everything except the above, liked having access to a swimming pool.
Cons: Filter coffee in room, half fat milk, more attention to amount of teabags.
Location: 2 mins from metro, good restaurants walking distance,sights:Tower of London, access to City for business trips and West End.
Everything about this 2 night stay was very good, with the exception of tea & coffee provision in room:basic, instant coffee only& not enough teabags for 2 people to have the same type of tea. For me, any hotel which provides filter coffee in the room(in a sachet or otherwise) is to be recommended. We did not have breakfast so will not comment on standards.

Great location, mostly great hotel

This is the second time I've stayed here, but a little less impressed on my second visit. The shower never really got hot, even after waiting 5-10 minutes. The room was also a part time meeting breakout room, meaning we had only a pull down bed which wasn't massively comfortable. The location was great and the staff were friendly, but id probably try somewhere else on my next visit. I just expected more from what was such a great experience my first time around.

overnight stay

I booked a superior double room with a Queen size bed and breakfast. On checking in I found out that breakfast was not included and the Queen size bed was small for two people. I was informed that breakfast was not part of the deal but I was convinced that it was listed in the package details prior to booking. The staff & management were very helpful and resolved my displeasure by adding breakfast to my booking and upgraded me to an Executive room free of charge. It turned out to be an excellent night.
