Very poor standard of service for a five star hotel. Rooms not as advertised. Their studio suite is not a suite.

It's in a great location for access to central London. However, having stayed here several times up until 18 months ago, the upkeep of the hotel appears to have declined. The sauna was broken, mold appearing in the rain shower, the staff appeared less enthusiastic and friendly than before too. The furniture in the reception lobby best illustrates the issue, everything feels a bit worn.

I wouldn't class this a 5 star hotel. The hotel overall was very nice, although i found the pillows a bit hard which has resulted in a bit of a stiff neck. Would have liked a view but rooms face inwards which i found odd over looking the breakfast area. Also, the air con kicked in every 5 minutes and could not turn it off which caused me some sleep deprivation. Not keen on the breakfast tea either, very weak. The £200 room rate probably not worth it in my opinion, luckily i had a discounted rate but would have been peeved if i had paid full price.
