Great appartments

We came to London to attend a concert at the O2 arena and chose to stay at the Marriott because of the excellent location it is only one stop away from the arena on the tube. We found the staff very friendly and helpful. The apartment was exactly as described on the website very clean and we'll maintained we will definitely be staying here again and will be recommending to our friend and family.

Large rooms, nice location, no equipment, no service

Despite being in the higher price range, this hotel offers a room that's as described, and that's all. There's a kitchen, a bed, and two TVs. Wi-Fi is not free (6£ an hour!!!) and staff is not very helpful. The hotel asks for a 50£/night hold on the credit card to guarantee for the few extras you could use (VOD, Laundry... There's no minibar.) When asked to have separate beds, the hotel simply put a roll-away bed of 80x180 cm in the living room, whose cleanliness was doubtable (blood stain on the pillow, dirt on the "frame"). The windows were not clean from inside. However, they reveal a nice panorama of London. our room was located right above the train station, which causes some noise and vibrations due to the track switches.

5 Sterne mit Abstriche

auch wenn wir ein Appartement bewohnt haben, könnte man in einem 5 Sterne Haus erwarten, dass täglich die Handtücher gewechselt werden und nicht jeden zweiten Tag. Außerdem sollte nachdem das Reinigungspersonal das Bad gereinigt hat keine langen schwarzen Haare auf dem hellen Boden liegen. Offensichtlich gehört auch die WC-Bürste nicht zum Standard. Auch fehlten für die Geschirrspülmaschine die Reinigungsmittel und Geschirrtuch. Service und gesamtes Erscheinungsbild soweit ok.
