Have stayed several times, this time was the worse. The renovations + the huge numbers of guests coming and going made the place chaotic. The breakfast area was absolutely full most of the time and breakfast amounted to a competition or a waiting game. Will not go back for a while.

We stay here very regularly when we visit London however our visit this time was poor - we were stuck in a noisy room which wasn't part of the refurbished part of the hotel - the room was poky, noisy, hot, the bed was tiny for two people and the bed had the tiniest of duvets and the pillows were terrible. On top of all this the hotel is having major works done so it's a pain to have to walk to the back of hotel to get in so you'd think that for regular customers like us we may have been given a better room. We will probably change this now as our hotel of choice - shame.

This hotel looks nice from the lobby but the rooms are tired and small. The bathrooms are not as clean as they first look.

Well located London hotel

Pros: Friendly front of house, well located
Cons: Breakfast price
Location: Close to Regents Park so very quiet in terms of London and yet only one stop from bustling Oxford/Regent Street
Overnight stay in London as we needed to access Regent Street. Very close to Regents Park - entrance 200 metres away - and very close to both Great Portland Street and Regents Park tube lines so only two stops from St Pancras and one stop to Oxford Circus for you retail junkies. Large hotel but still very personal service at the front desk. Room 615 had a small - one person at a time - bathroom which had everything you need as did the room itself although some people might find it a bit claustrophobic with a 6 foot bed. Only downside £22 pp for breakfast. Walk into the park and find great coffee and pastry and people watch for £4 pp

Nice on the surface but heavily lacking for 4 star

Pros: The staff, super nice.
Cons: The rooms are so small and worn. The gym is unacceptable. Needs water bottles in room.
Location: Great location two subway stations nearby, warren and portland. Very good grocery store, starbucks and bars and lounges nearby. park next door.
We were disappointed in this hotel. At first we thought it was great, it is near the metro and a really nice shopping/bar area. However, there are many problems. First, the gym which is ridiculously small and not thought out at all. It only has free weights and running machines. The floor is destroyed by dropping weights and there is no back equipment. Second, breakfast is really expensive. Third, the room is extremely small and worn, which would be okay, but the bathroom door is extremely hard to close, with very little room. As well the shower had a bit of mould in it and leaks. Fourth, the room is very small with almost no room for luggage or to move. There is a tea kettle but no water bottles, which can only be ordered from room service. Finally, you will be charged for local calls but not informed until the end of you stay. Other than that, the staff is friendly and extremely helpful. Also, the martini bar looks nice with live music.
