I booked last minute and enjoyed my stay. It’s a little noisy but the hotel provides ear plugs which were very effective! Staff were great, and i‘d recommend this hotel to those needing a centrally located hotel with good transport links to the city. Plenty of eating options on the doorstep!

Convenient and close to the parddington metro rail

Pros: The closeness to the metro station
Cons: The need to provide some trolleys for guests to easily move their luggage
Location: Very close to a variety of very nice eating and shopping centers
Very comfortable and enjoyable it is strategically located between Paddington Station and Edgware road and with easy access to Marks and Spencer shopping area

The room was nice and clean. The air ventilation in the bathroom was not working, but the air heating pump was operational. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The area was good, with a variety of different restaurants around.

This was one of those "never again" -experiences. There was a lot of bulding work going on next to the hotel so they told us at the reception that there would be noise in the day time. Not a problem to us. However at around midnight there was a delivery of scaffolding in the street our room was facing and the rest of the night the builders put up the scaffolding. Very noisy - no sleep. For the price we paid we got a tiny stuffy room (even for London) with nothing special, definitely nothing like the pictures on the hotel website. We just won't go back to this hotel ever again. Simple as that. It was way too expensive for the quality we got. Why are there only bad hotels at Paddington?

Überbewertetes 4-Stern Hotel in guter Lage

Pros: Die Lage in der Nähe von Paddington und diversen U-Bahnen
Cons: Frühstück im angrenzenden Restaurant könnte deutlich verbessert werden. Ein eigentliches Frühstücksbuffet gibt es noch nicht.
Location: unmittelbar neben Paddington Station und in der Nähe des Hyde-Parks
Das Mercure Paddington Hotel befindet sich in gute Lage (neben Paddington Station), ist aber als 4-Stern-Hotel überwertet und deshalb zu teuer. Es handelt sich eher um ein klassisches 3-Sternhotel. Unser Zimmer war klein und eng, die Einrichtung etwas veraltet und der Komfort durchschnittlich. Das Frühstück im angrenzenden Restaurant Carfunkel's war teuer und wenig empfehlenswert.

Excellent location next to Paddington station

Pros: Location could not be much better. Very clean and tidy.
Cons: Room was a bit small for two people, but still quite comfortable.
Location: You can walk to Paddington tube station in 30 seconds and have best possible connections to everywhere in London.
Excellent location right next to Paddington station. Friendly and helpful staff. Free tea, coffee, biscuits and water bottles – new ones brought every day. Very little street noise. Very clean.

Hyvä hinta-laatusuhde hotellilla.

Cons: Huoneessa oli kokolattiamatto. Sen voisi imuroida joskus. Muuten huone oli siisti ja hiljainen.
Location: Hotelli sijaitsee Paddingtonin aseman vieressä. Kulkeminen metrolla ja busseilla oli helppoa.
Hotelli Mercure on hyvä hotelli ja sijainti on loistava.

Good connections

Pros: Good connections and clean
Cons: Rooms are quite small
Location: It is easy to come from Heathrow and then you have 3 metro lines from Paddington also by walking you reach Hyde Park, Madame Tussaud ( about 3 km)
