All in all a nice property in a good area with a reasonable amount of street parking. Only negative of the room design was bathroom size. The loo is hard against the door so all a bit awkward. Of far greater concern however is the elevator mechanism that makes a noise every 3-4 seconds like the sound of a loo seat slamming. This lasted all night. As a result, after being woken up by a screaming row in the corridor at 0415hrs, I got no further sleep. I complained at check out and asked that the management get in touch within 48 hours or I would report on Trip Advisor which I am now doing. DO NOT stay in a room next to the lifts.

Front desk staff were good and helpful at all times. Room could have been better prepared - half empty water bottles and not enough towels and robes. Bins still contained rubbish in them from previous occupant. House keeping knocked on the door and made us feel like we needed to leave asap when we had a check out time of 12pm. Not my best London hotel experience.

Einmal mehr ein falscher Feueralarm bei unserem Aufenthalt. Wird, leider, langsam zur Gewohnheit bei unseren Aufenthalten. Houskeeping nicht immer ganz zufriedenstellend. Sonst gute Lage zu den Attraktionen der Stadt.

Please accept my sincerest apologies and rest assured these will be both addressed and reviewed accordingly as we are concerned with the satisfaction of all of our guests.Our apologies for the fire alarm issues you encountered during your stay. Procedures and equipments are in place to save our lives and help to keep premises and their occupant's safe by providing an early warning of a possible fire and enabling people inside the building to evacuate. The detection systems react to an increase in heat or the presence of smoke but, unfortunately, they can also react to things such as steam, cigarette smoke, aerosol sprays and/ or perfumes. I very much regret the obvious inconvenience caused.
