Told restaurant was closed at 10.30 in evening by restaurant staff after checking with reception that restaurant/kitchen closes at 11pm (info in room which check later in room also said 11.00). Clearly restaurant staff really lazy and don't care about guests - not only did restaurant/hotel lose custom of family of 4, but it left me and my family very hungry and angry after long day in London. Equally outraged by breakfast next morning - Sunday morning went down for breakfast at 9 15 (breakfast is until 11am) and had to join enormous queue that winded its way into hotel reception area for a full 25 minutes. I don't expect to have to wait in hotel queue for 25 minutes for breakfast where I have paid decent money for breakfast. Reminiscent of low cost Ryanair-Style queue!! If you can't provide a decent breakfast service for paying guests then either don't offer it or ask people to pre-book slot on check in. Conclusion, if you treat your guests like a burden and don't make us feel welcome and wanted, and even fail to follow your own stated policies, then we don't return or recommend you.

Dear Adam, First of I would like to thank you for sharing your experience with us, I was both surprised and disappointed with regard to your evening experience, The restaurant is open until 10pm however we do serve food until 11pm both in the bar and the room service and I would like to apologise if this was miscommunicated to you and I can assure you that I took immediate action and reinforce with the team our service standard. I am sorry to read that your breakfast experience was not any better, despite the fact that we have displayed in the lifts a breakfast notice to advise our guest the possible waiting time at peak time we did experience a high number of customer coming for breakfast at the same time and a slow table turnover. I can assure you this was an unusual shortfall as we do receive a lot of positive comments about our breakfast service. I hope you will give us the opportunity to welcome you back at the Novotel London Tower Bridge in order to allow us to demonstrate to you the true level of service we pride ourselves for. Nice hotel. Great location

Great stay. ONLY slight issue lack of toiletries in room . Bath mat to be collected from reception.. Go for 5th floor. Had nice view of Tower London
