Cramped, tiny room. Pretty depressing!

The room was ridiculously small. The bathroom door couldn't open properly as the bed obstructed it! There wasn't enough room to open my suitcase. The room and therefore the bed was on a slant making the bed uncomfortable and the brown towels, sticky bath mat and stained bedding had long brown hairs on them from some previous occupant. Not the best London hotel experience I've had!

central hotel near victoria and sites

Pros: Location and cleanliness
Cons: Staff could be happier as this makes a huge difference. Breakfast is very disappointing.
Location: Buckingham palace, Victoria station, West End
We stayed for only one night in this hotel as the rate was really good. It is OK for a quick visit, but not more.

Excellent for the Arts

Well within walking distance of the Tate. Tate Modern and National Gallery a bit further but a good walk gets you there,

Decent hotel at a good price

One of the lowest cost hotels I have stayed at in London but it was perfectly OK for my overnight business trip. I would use this hotel again.

Overnachting bij citytrip

Onze kamer op de 4e verdieping was klein, maar wel perfect in orde badkamer (net nieuw denk ik), enkel hing er een raar geurtje in de kamer. Ons ander reisgezelschap hun badkamer was dringend aan renovatie toe (veel schimmel). Ontbijt sloeg ook dik tegen. In de kelderverdieping maar ontbijt met slechts boterhammen, kaas en confituur en cornflakes. Voor een citytrip heb je echt toch wel een steviger ontbijt nodig. Blijkbaar kon je wel het english breakfast op voorhand bestellen aan de receptie aan 5 pond extra per persoon, maar werd ons pas gemeld bij het uitchecken. Ligging is perfect, in een mooie straat dichtbij metrostation.
