The room was way too expensive for the quality. It was a room hot handicapped people with almost no window and a very low quality bathroom. Breakfast was very low quality.

Despite explicit request to have our room daily cleaned, our room was only cleaned once during our 6 days stay, which was very discomforting. Then, on our day of departure the cleaning crew came knocking starting 7:30 am and after that ever half an hour, which was very disturbing, especially when we could not get to our room upon arrival before 3pm (6 hours wait).

Excellent views of Westminster and Big Ben. All staff around the hotel were friendly, helpful and provided excellent customer service at all times. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic location for visiting London, especially with kids. The studio rooms with separate sleeping area and (notionally) fridge and microwave are great for families, the location is perfect for the Southbank attractions, water taxis etc. Very central, yet quiet enough to to get kids to sleep easily. The pool is small but fine for kids. However after staying here several times, the standards seem to be slipping a little. On our last visit neither the fridge nor the microwave in the room worked and there was some of the previous guests toiletries left in the room. The breakfast is OK, rather than great, fine for a rushing family but not the grand luxurious breakfast you might expect at this price (the Intercontinental at the 02 excels at this!).

It was fine for what we needed however I wouldn’t say that cleanliness was as good as it could be and a few areas look like they could do with updating / refreshing.

The room was generally of good standard with a comfy bed. I was disappointed that due to cost saving measures, this hotel does not service rooms during guests stay. The safety at this hotel is very questionable. When checking in, there was an irate drunk man in the lobby threatening violence against those around him, and throwing personal items from his luggage around the lobby. The staff said nothing to me about him whilst I was checking in, which I found strange not to acknowledge. On the second night when returning to the hotel, a gang of kids clearly not staying in the hotel were causing some disturbance in the hotel entrance. I didn’t feel very safe in this hotel.

We wanted to order room service where the app was not working and the phone was not connected. We called via our mobile phones which took around 15 minutes to answer. The food came cold and felt it was just microwaved. Also, we saw a bloodstain on our pillows and the water was cold. When complained to Park Plaza they referred us to guest relations where there was no solution.

Room cleaned only every 3 days, not good enough, had to ask 3 times for more towels before i got them. No bathrobes, slippers even though its a 4 star hotel ! Walls are very thin, bring ear plugs as you can hear toilets flushing from other room and alarm clocks going off etc. Overpriced food and drinks compared to restaurants outside.There are better 4 star hotels in London to stay at.

Hotel is centrally located next to London Eye and other tourist hot spots. Reasonably priced. Staff very nice and attentive. Would recommend to others.
