Hotel near to Heathrow

Difficult to find the bus transfer to get to hotel then stunned to have to pay £10 for 2 people to just get there! We'd booked a standard room which was supposed to have a queen size bed ... it didn't and the room couldn't have been smaller! I spoke to reception to check and they confirmed this was their standard room and couldn't (be bothered?) to upgrade us. Room was so warm and pillows uncomfortable. So after paying £20 to get to/from hotel this really isn't the best hotel you can stay in at Heathrow. Wouldn't recommend - just book somewhere else!

I would not stay again

Pros: In all honesty this is a very nice hotel with comfortable rooms. It was let down by poor planning and oversight by management.
Cons: Inform visitors of events that may disrupt their stay. Offer alternative rooms. Train their staff to have better customer service.
We stayed here on Saturday 18th December prior to an early flight to New York the next day. We were given a room on the first floor and as soon as we arrived we realised we were directly above one of the events rooms where there was a party going on. Being that it was 19.30 we didn't worry about the noise too much and headed downstairs to the indian restaurant which was lovely. However after returning to the room we realised that the music from below had increased and was clearly audible within the room. I called down to reception to ask if this would be going on all night and rather than give a straight answer I was basically fobbed off and told that the music was at an acceptable level and shouldn't be affecting us in the room. I asked to be moved and was told that the hotel was fully booked. My wife and I booked this hotel with a view to getting an early night and getting up early for the flight. However, the music from below went on until after 0200am, leaving my wife and I less than 2 hours of peace before we were due to get up. When we checked out the receptionist asked if I had enjoyed my stay. When I replied 'no not really' and explained about the level of the music, she seemed to take the feedback very personally and became very defensive, insisting that I should have called reception before and requested to be moved. I explained that I had and her response was 'well I cannot do anything about it now'.

Job interview

I travelled to Heathrow for a job interview and had been recommended to stay in this hotel due it my colleagues stay being fantastic. I arrived and what an entrance! It was grand and simply stunning. The staff could not do any more for myself and when I asked to room upgrades they were very helpful and the price for an uograde was only £35 which I thought was a brilliant price. Upon entering my room I noticed a shower an bath along with facilities to iron my clothes along with a hairdryer. The signal on the TV did not work correctly so a few Chanels did not work but that was not too much of a problem the only down side of the room was the view which overlooked the beautiful McDonald's and a side car park which I was slightly disappointed with. I did order room service at night and also had my breakfast brought to my room in the morning. Food was delicious and the waiting staff were very professional and impeccable. The tray charge was a very fair price of £1.50. The check out process was very quick which I appreciated due to having to be somewhere at 8am which the staff also made me aware of the travelling options. I'm would definitely stay in this hotel again and will be recommending this hotel to all family and guests. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

avoid room 2100

Hotel is good and clean. Of a high standard in all respects apart from one - my room was next to a disco that went on into the night with the room vibrating. When the music eventually stopped the cleaning staff were dragging metal tables across the floor in the yard and throwing them. No sleep which defeats the object of paying for a hotel. Next trip through Heathrow I think I'll stick with Travelodge where I have never had a bad night sleep
