Room 408 - The bathroom stunk of mould/damp. It was cold (even though the air conditioning was on 30 degrees.) The toilet seat was too loose to use. The bedside lamps didn't work. Room 205 - Tiles on bathroom floor was cracked and my friend cut her foot.

Please note that this information has been passed on to our concerned team. We very much apologise with you for the inconvenience that it might have caused, however neither you or the guest in room 205 did report anything to the reception team, that could have promptly acted and a bulb could have been changed in a couple of minutes. In regards to the guest in room 205, getting hurt should have been reported directly, as an established company always has an insurance, and we would have acted immediately with first aid procedures as well. For your information, one of the bathroom tiles has a little crack that could not have hurt, however been assured that all our rooms are always checked and if maintenance needs to be applied someone is always in the hotel. We are always happy to help and we are here to do so with all our guests, suggestions are always accepted and issues can always be solved, as long as they are promptly reported and not just written in a review after the check out. We hope to have the chance to welcome you back at The Bryson Hotel in order to show you that your stay can meet your expectations.

There was expired milk in the fridge, mould in the bath, and they sold a dream with the ‘continental breakfast’ it’s just cereal and bread. I had to pay £6 extra for the worst English breakfast. Their vegetarian breakfast was the smallest portion of eggs, beans and one hash brown. It was still £6.

Dear Melika, Thank you for being our recent guest and we appreciate such a detailed feedback of your stay. I am sorry to hear that your stay didn't meet your expectations. As I understood, neither of the two breakfast options which we offer, the Continental and the Full English Breakfast, met your expectations. I can reassure you that a Continental Breakfast is more that "just cereal and bread”. It includes croissants, sliced, bread, home baked cake, fresh fruit, 8 types of coffee, 6 types of tea, 4 types of cornflakes, yogurt, fresh milk, biscuits, ham, cheese, salami... and can also be complemented by additional items that consist the Full English Breakfast, such as grilled sausages, your choice of eggs (scrambled, boiled, poached or fried), bacon, baked beans, fresh mushrooms, hashbrown, grilled tomato, steamed broccoli and mixed vegetables... All these Full English Breakfast items, as you correctly mentioned, come at an additional charge of £6. All of them freshly cooked and for many our guests the price upgrade seems fair in comparison to what they get. It would be very helpful though to know what your ideal breakfast is, perhaps you help us improving? In regards to the your other comments, I have addressed them with the relevant departments and have shared the experience with the team. We launched an internal investigation on the claims of your feedback. In such cases though it is advisable the guest to report immediately to reception as we are open and available 24/7, so that we can promptly check and resolve any issue which may occur. I would like to point out that we are proud of The Bryson Hotel and of the level of services we provide, which is reflected in the majority of our reviews, and I do hope we will have the opportunity to welcome you back to London so that we may have a chance to restore your faith in our hotel.

Good hotel, good location

Quite recently renovated nice hotel. It's an old building, so things like staircases etc are quite narrow, but has an elevator and cozy feel. Room is compact but well thought so there is enough space. Washroom is modern and good to use. Cleaning staff very friedly and efficient, towels changed each day. The room has kettle, mugs, coffee, milk, small fridge, iron, hairdryer, umbrella etc. Bed is great and comfy and the TV is brilliant, you can watch eg. Netflix from it. Sainsbury's just around the corner and restaurants etc. Close proximity to tube stations. All in all would recommend, have stayed already twice and hope to stay again. I think it's good value for the money.

Good experience.

Pros: Cleanliness and location
Location: Dickens museum British museum
Small rooms but well equipped and designed . Black and red seems to be the colour code for the Bryson. Rooms were on main room but quiet. What breakfast lacked in quality was made up by volume and choice. The service here was also great. The dickens museum is close by and the British museum is about a 15 minute walk. It's about a 30 minute walk to Shaftesbury avenue and the theatre district. Overall a good experience and reasonable value for the city especially if you get a rate which features the full English breakfast.

Nice hotel overall

Pros: The room is quite spacious, nespresso machine and jacuzzi bath are very nice
Cons: You do not have the room for 24 hours. You will be requested to leave by 11:00 and will chased by reception if you do not. This is despite the hotel being empty, therefore hardly keeping the room when someone else is waiting in reception to check in

Great value for money. The room was of a very good size, with all the amenities you can think of (including an umbrella which proved very useful on that rainy day). The staff is very welcoming and helpful. I will stay there again.

Nice hotel in the city

The hotel is brand new, located centrally close to Farringdon station. Rooms are modern and functionals. Friendly staff.
