the service was excellent. the room was enclosed, window out onto a small backyard. the bathroom floor was icy. the room was cold. put one on the heating system noise it so it was uncomfortable. breakfast was below what one would expect in a hotel today. boiled eggs were green, beconet was dry after lying for a long time. the ordering department was minimal. No not recommended.

Booked into this hotel but upon checking in - and only once they had taken my payment - they informed me that due to a flood I was to be put in their sister hotel. I eventually found sister hotel (no offer to help with my luggage and after a long day finally checked in). While hotel in general was fine as I was just down for a business trip really isn’t a 4 star hotel. Tiny rooms. Literally 2 inches of space between end of bed and wall (even though desk was on other side of bed and there was no other way to get through). Ended up having to clamber over bed to dry my hair in the morning. Shower was good but small cubicle meant it wasnt very relaxing. Towels smelled musty and were old. Breakfast was fine - usual buffet offering, and staff were very pleasant. On the whole time for 2 days stay in London for business but don’t think I would book again.

I booked a room for single occupancy for 2 nights. Room was very small with tiny wardrobe containing 3 hangers for hanging clothes. After complaining was upgraded to a slightly larger room with a proper wardrobe. The finish of the room and design were nice and it was quiet and clean.Good location - close to Paddington station. Arranged a wake up call which I got 25 mins late!

nice hotel and extremely friendly staff. There was a problem with our room so we‘ve been upgraded to a 5star hotel. Actually my best stay in london.
