Arrived the first night and had paid the additional cost for an Executive room. The room was high on the 11th floor with a great view of London Bridge. The room itself was starting to show signs of age and furniture was a bit tired looking. I let it slide but issue surfaced in the night when the noise levels from above went on until 01:45. I heard every chair scrape, every door close and most conversations. It turned out to be a conference room above. I requested a move the following morning which duly happened and I was moved onto the 5th looking out onto St Katherine's Dock. Room was more modern and sound levels were very quiet, although the room temperature was disappointingly high. Overall a disappointing stay, but staff were excellent in helping to try to solve my issues and nice touch of an apology card with some chocolates.

Excellent view from room

Very pleasant stay. Room felt a little dated, especially the bathroom. However, probably the most stunning view from a hotel room ever! Had good night’s sleep. Hotel was surprisingly quiet, despite location. Breakfast not included in our rate, but at £12 was good value. Tesco Local on the corner too. Would stay here again.

Location excellent

Pros: Clean
Cons: Breakfast queue was horrendous
Location: Excellent location near Tower Bridge and London Tower
Booked a standard double but got a sleeper room/ The room was so small only 1 x bedside chest and nowhere to put our case. Complained to the manager and they changed us into a family room.

Rude reception staff!

I booked suite room for our 1st wedding anniversery 3 months ago with requesting tower bridge view but when i get the hotel the lady was checked in was so rude!! i was politely asking if my room has a tower bridge view but she was ignoring and telling me what to expect if you book from ebookers.she was so rude and it was my first wedding anniversery and the lady put us in st katharines dock view which i didnt request! I have been many hotel all over the hotel but never met that rude reception team before.if you treat people who book room from ebookers why would you let ebookers to sell your rooms.it was so bad experience and the lady in reception ruin my wedding anniversary day! Also we had a dinner in the brasserie restaurant was perfect we had three course with bottle of champaign it was delicious food and outstanding service the only bad experience with this hotel was reception

What has changed

Have visited this hotel many times over last year normally for birthdays or special occasions, This trip the hotel was very busy and under staffed all the staff where under pressure with work load. The room wasn't properly cleaned and tired. The only good service we received was from the concearge tried to ring reception and room service never answered the phone. Very disappointed and won't be staying again so know looking at other five star hotels for other visits to London

Perfect location. Great parking lovely views

We had a heating issue in that we couldn't turn off the air conditioning. Reported it to reception and was told that heaters would be sent up. Nothing arrived. Luckily the sun started to warm every thing up in general otherwise we would have froze to death!

Awful Experience

Would never stay here again. Booked and paid via EBookers.com. Hotel charged me again and after complaining they couldn’t fix the issue till Monday. While waiting for that money to come back they charged me again and was out of pocket of nearly 2K along with the £500 that I paid for via EBookers. Have to travel to London again to get the issue resolved. Apparently there was a technical glitch. They should have only changed me £300 for my room service and I was out of pocket of nearly 2k for the week. Apart from a sorry no discount given or anything for my trouble. My advise use a credit card and don’t give your debit card details. Recommend the Hilton Hotel!!!! Stay away from this place.
